Why We Use Organic Jojoba Oil

What is it?

Jojoba oil is a golden, odorless liquid wax ester pressed from the seed of the jojoba shrub. It closely resembles human sebum, making it highly skin-compatible. Organic Jojoba oil is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants, it moisturizes, balances oil production, and strengthens the skin.

Why We Use It

On its own, jojoba is lightweight, non-comedogenic, and deeply hydrating. But the magic really happens when it's paired with high-quality suet tallow.

Tallow is rich in oleic acid, which isn't ideal for every skin type. Organic Jojoba oil balances out the fatty acids, precisely rounding out the composition and making our formula perfect for your face, on even the most sensitive skin types. With all the benefits of suet tallow and jojoba combined, it makes for a gentle tallow face cream, a balanced and powerful beef tallow moisturizer unlike any other.

While many tallow skincare brands use olive oil or avocado oil (which both have a significantly shorter shelf life than jojoba) we use unrefined, cold-pressed, organic Jojoba oil with our suet tallow because it’s lighter, smoother, and gentler on sensitive skin compared to alternatives. It nourishes and fortifies your skin’s natural barrier, making our tallow skincare formula more effective, versatile, and suitable for your face and body.
